Cold Water

Sitting by the river as night begins to fall
His hands reach to reassure me
Cold water on a summers day

Oh the much needed reassurance....
for me love is often one way...and I find it much more easy to live with that, anyway

Nice poem, Tara :)

You always seem to bring my blood pressure down every time I visit. This was beautiful...
Almost like experiencing it...all signs of a great writer and artist.

The silhouette effect is gorgeous. A beautiful serene shot.

You are one of the best short line poets I have ever had the privilege to read Tara.
