Slow Dancing

Right down the street from me this lazy river flows. At night I like to watch the sun fall between the shading trees and find their place before the night sky takes over. The beauty of this cannot be described with the exception that I feel like I am watching day and night play hide and seek as children often do.

Slow dancing day becomes night in a glorious display of mood. Beautiful photo and great post. So good to see you back.

For some odd reason it looks like one of those clouds is tied to the dock.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, and your kind comments. It never ceases to amaze me how universal our feelings are.

I'm so glad to find you! The photos are stunning. I loved Navy wife..you captured that so well.

We dance faster when the day is high and bright, as I age I much prefer the slower dancing that comes with the approaching night.

You live in a beautiful place Tara with a view like that one. Love the words to this - I too am at the age where slow dancing is more desirable :)

Almost every evening sky is gorgeous. And morning skies too. I'm not quite sure why. Something in us humans I guess. A promise of things to come maybe.

Very nice picture. To me line two and three are enough, line one is another short poem. But I do still like the set.

Best wishes

Tara,
Just checking back with you. I sense something truly amiss and am a tad concerned. Talk to me!

Where for art thou?

I believe that Mankind has always been fascinated by the cat & mouse game that Night and Day play. We look for patterns to help make sense of this world which is wrought with random acts that do not make sense.

We just want to be able to predict a relatively accurate image of tomorrow..but too many people are as unpredictable as the weather and it affects our lives.
